seh2007
I was coping and pasting (in 2D) a simple group of a polygon, line and a text box while zoomed in. The file crashed (as it sometimes does with VW as if you are asking it to do too much at once) however it will not reopen. I can open VW and can open other files but when trying to open this file it acts as if it will open it but then pauses and crashes VW. I am running OS 10.4.1 and VW 12.5.2. And there was not a backup file made to try opening. Any ideas or suggestions? Quote Link to comment

islandmon
Have you tried restarting the OS ? Quote Link to comment
vsd
Sometimes you can access the layers by reference from another file, even if the file won't open alone. Give it a try. vsd Quote Link to comment
Guest
SEH - There's a couple of things to point out. First, you can send the file to tech support to see if they can fix the file and open it. Second, you may want to consider a backup system to backup your project files. Also, update to the latest version of OS 10.4 - at least 10.4.9 or 10.4.10. After updating, run Disk Utility to verify and repair disk permissions. Quote Link to comment
jeffroyer
Tech support can/may help you restore the file. (They saved me recently). You can get their email from the "How to submit a bug" section of the forum. Quote Link to comment
