Vectorworks, Inc Employee Tamsin Slatter Posted July 12, 2007 Vectorworks, Inc Employee Share Posted July 12, 2007 Hi Messing with creating new textures and I am puzzled over what the size fields in the brick bond shaders relate to. Are they real world? Are they page units? And what does the scale factor relate to? I have scoured the manual but failed to come up with the answer. Any help greatly appreciated as always. Vectorworks, Inc Employee Dave Donley Posted July 15, 2007 Vectorworks, Inc Employee Share Posted July 15, 2007 Hello Tamsin: The size values are proportions, relative to the Texture Size value in the Edit Texture dialog. So if the texture size were set to 8", a brick width of 1.0 would mean 8". The scale factor is there for each shader so they can be smaller or larger than the other shaders; your bump shader can be 1/2 size versus the color shader, for example. Quote Link to comment
