12.5.2b to 12.5.2?

There was a 12.5.2 beta (build 69193) issued via this forum. Is it okay to simply update from that or should we go back to the original 12.5.1 before updating?

You can update from the beta to 12.5.2 directly.

I ran it but it said my version didn't need updating. And my build number is still 69163.

... same thing happens even if I replace my 12.5.2b version with 12.5.1 beforehand.

We are currently looking into this.

When you installed the 12.5.2b, did you duplicate the VW application, rename your original application to VW Original and then update the duplicate?

If you created a duplicate application in the VW folder, follow these instructions to update to the full 12.5.2:

Delete the duplicate application (either original or beta update)

Rename the VectorWorks application to "VectorWorks" or "VectorWorks.exe" (PC)

Run the 12.5.2 updater posted to the website.

I am suprised how quick you want to upgrade. We are still on 12.5 as we did not see any benefits from 12.5.1 only problems. Our 12.5 is a uk version and we did not want to losse any of the ul add ons and there never seemed to be a uk version of 12.5.1. What are the benefits of 12.5.2? We are hanging out until 12.6 or 13.

Didn't work for me first time. But after emptying the trash and logging in and out again it updated, thanks.
