ninjaslim
Hi I'm currently about to specify a new PC for additional seat of Vectorworks 12.5 Designer and what some advice on where to spend the money. Is it better to go for more ram 4GB over 2GB or a faster graphics card with more memory, faster processor or what? I'm looking at a mid range machine = 2GB Ram, 2 Core Duo 2.4GHz Quad core with 4MB cache, Radeon X1350Pro 256MB graphics card. Quote Link to comment
ninjaslim
I don't understand where do I go to get advice like this? What are the best type of graphics cards for use with Vectorworks? Quote Link to comment
Guest
There was a spam post between yours and Pete's that has since been deleted. Quote Link to comment
bc
ninjaslim, Hang in there, Pete seemed to be responding to someone named AndyAnderson. Talk like this happens frequently. Someone will suggest something, I'm sure. I don't know enough to help you. Quote Link to comment
Christiaan
RAM is where you're going to get the most overall productivity bang-for-buck. I'd be going for 4GB. Then again it's easier to upgrade the RAM than the processor so you might consider a faster processor and more RAM down the line. It would be worth costing a comparable Mac Pro too. You'll probably find it's cheaper. Quote Link to comment
