willofmaine
Is there any way to get window labels to show up in elevation as well as plan? We usually identify the windows on the building elevations, if not the plans. Both would be best. Thanks! Quote Link to comment
CipesDesign
Not sure if there an automatic way to do this, but you can do it easily (by 'hand') using the NUMBER STAMP TOOL. If you cannot find the tool (the icon looks a little like a baby's pacifier) you can add it to your workspace via the WORKSPACE EDITOR. The tool itself is pretty self expanatory. Just double click on its icon and an easy to understand dialog will appear ;-) Quote Link to comment
Don@Black Dog
That's a great little tool. Too bad you have to dig through all teh tools to the legacy tools to find it. It should be standard to the dimensioning tool set! It is particularly useful for RCP lighting codes, windows, etc. Just don't forget to set the diameter of the label to 10 or 12 " (assuming 1/4" scale design layer) to accomodate a 10 or 12pt letter.
