Benson Shaw
CENTER ON NEXT MOUSE CLICK option is grey when duplicating circular array of 3d object. My workaround is to duplicate a 2d object around a center point coincident with the desired center axis for the 3d duplication. That updates the center coordinates for any subsequent duplicate array. But it seems like the duplicate circular array command should work for 3d objects without this extra step. Or did I miss something? -B Quote Link to comment

G_Hannigan
Are you in a 3d view when you try perform the Duplicate Array command? I am able to use the mouse click option on a 3d object, but only if I start from a Top/Plan view. When I change to a 3d view, including "Top View", the mouse click option is grayed out. Benson Shaw
Yup, That's it. Gotta mouse up to view menu to change to Top/Plan. or a saved view of Top/Plan. Too bad if you want to Dupe array in other orientation. It would be great if it could duplicate around any axis normal to current veiw. Maybe next rev. Many thanks! -B Quote Link to comment
preston bircher designs
Well... now it's VW2020 … and it's STILL grayed out in 3D "working pane" view. AARRGGHHH 1 Quote Link to comment
