James Milkey
Just a quick question...I'm running VW12.0.1 on a Mac and when I open a new drawing I no longer get the menu to create blank document or use a template...It seems to still exist on a PC so I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong on the Mac. Thanks. Jim Quote Link to comment
Guest
When you go to File>New, what options do you have? Quote Link to comment
James Milkey
There are no options, it immediately opens a drawing using the default stationary I assume. Jim Quote Link to comment
Vectorworks, Inc Employee klinzey Posted July 10, 2006 Vectorworks, Inc Employee Share Posted July 10, 2006 Are there any .sta files in your Templates folder? If the folder is empty you will just get a new blank document. Quote Link to comment
James Milkey
It seems as if the program did not install the templates folder...Will it work if I create one? Quote Link to comment
James Milkey
It does...So I'm not sure if the PC created the templates folder automatically or if I did that on my own too... Quote Link to comment
Guest
The fundamentals application does not ship with templates, therefore no templates folder either. Quote Link to comment
David Bertrand
Yup. You have to create a templates folder. I had the same problem when I installed 11.5.1. I'm not sure if you have to actually save a template into the templates folder, but it wouldn't hurt. Quote Link to comment
