acdeslx
I'm looking at getting a new notebook and am wondering if anybody can give me a hint as to whether I'll notice similar speed as I do with my desktop. Desktop: Pentium 4-3.0ghZ, 1gb RAM, 128mb video Notebook: Intel Core Duo T2300, 1gb RAM, shared video The video card shouldn't really matter for VW and RW, right? Anybody know of any problems with Intel's Core Duo processors with VW? Thanks, Dave Quote Link to comment
Jim_Allen
I just bought a new laptop dual core and love it. I don't know about comparing speed to a desktop, my old desktop wasn't a dual, but I would think a laptop would be as fast as a desktop configured the same.I expect that the vid card would affect RW when regenreating the image?? Jim_Allen
I haven't noticed any more heat than from my wife's HP laptop that is a P4. In fact is seems to run cooler My guess since it doesn't have to work as hard processing most stuff it runs cooler?? Jim Quote Link to comment
