michael john williams
Tried inserting stairs in architect v12 and i can not get the default stair configurations to come up. Checked out the movie and the manuel and still not coming up when trying the recommendations. Click stair then preferences and preferences comes up and not the stair configurations which iwant just to insert a simple u configured stair. Help? Quote Link to comment
mike m oz
Michael - use the Resource Browser to navigate to the drawing titled 14_Stairs Metric.mcd. Select the stair you want and drag it into your drawing. Quote Link to comment
michael john williams
mike Thanks for that. However, both the nna movie and the v12 upgrade companion disc say that you can shortcut the stair configuration by click on stair tool then preferences and the different stair configurations should pop up but it does not, stair preferences pop and not stair configuration, which is a pity as that would be a nice short cut. ionw
It turns out that if you do not already have a stair placed in the drawing the stair tool does exactly what you were after, a list of 10-12 pre-configured stairs pop up, you chhose one and accept the preference dialog and click to place. This same list does not come up once there is a stair in the drawing. HTH Quote Link to comment
Guest
Ion, To bring that dialog box up again, click on the Stair Preferences and go to the General Tab. In the lower right corner is a button called Browse. Clicking this button will bring you back to the default content Quote Link to comment
