Whats the best 3d survey file type for us to import

Alternatively, they could make a mesh of their TIN and send it in .dwg format 

thank you, i have asked to see if they can provide these formats,, if they do provide what is the import process?

My preference is to receive the points as 3D Loci in a dwg file. Then it's just a case of selecting them + running 'Site Model from Source Data...'.
