When using an extended monitor, menu, right click / option click does not work with VWX palletes on my MacBook screen

Question

Hi,

When using an extended monitor, menu, right click / option click does not work with VWX palletes on my MacBook screen

I use my Macbook Pro (Apple M2 Max) and an external monitor (4k screen connected via HDMI) when running VWX. I typically use my laptop screen as the 'second monitor' for things like the resource manager, worksheets and other palletes. However, when the palletes or worksheets are on my laptop screen, i can select items and cells but not any menu functions or use secondary / option click, unless I move the pallete back to my 'primary external display'.

It's not a cripling inconvenience of course, but if there was / could be a fix, would be great!

Thanks

I have filed a bug report on Worksheets not being clickable when on my MBP screen when VW is on my external monitor.  I had not noticed that the same applied to Palettes.

System information in your signature is not current. What hardware and OS are you actually running? I will add this thread to my bug.

Hi Pat,

Apologies, been a while since I posted it seems 🙂

My new system specs are:

Macbook Pro 16" 2023

Apple M2 Pro 12 Core

3456 x 2234 XDR Display

32GB Memory

External HP 28" 4K Display (HDMI)

(Running Sanoma 14.3 and VWX SP 3.1)

Best

Dylan
