Exporting page size issue

Hi,

 

I'm trying to export some drawings which look like they fit in the page boundaries well but when I export them as a PDF the page looks huge and the drawings are tiny. Any advice?

I'm having this same problem.  I'm setting up the export in Page Setup, and it all looks fine; but when I open the .pdf output, I'm seeing the same thing you are.  Weirdly, it's not in every file.  Some I'm working in work just fine, but others are doing this.  I've gone through to make sure there aren't any artifacts outside the print area, etc.  I've even opened a new empty file, and copy/pasted in marquee-selections, layer by layer, in case there's some weirdness in my original file; but it's doing that anyway.

If you go to Page Setup and then to Printer Setup is there a Vectorworks option that allows you to set the scale. This was added long, long ago before there were scaling options in the Mac print drivers.

 

Check this and make sure it is set to 100%.  Setting it smaller also effects PDF Export, but it should show up on screen also.
