shorter
Does anyone have a list of SketchUp versions compatible with which version of Vectorworks? We are increasingly having problems importing 3D Warehouse objects on older versions of Vectorworks such as 2021. Thanks. Quote Link to comment
Tom W.
I thought it was just a case of importing the version before the VW version you're using. So for VW2021 you'd need to import a SketchUp 2020 file. But looking now they are only going back to SketchUp 2021... Which I guess is the problem you're facing... Import to newer version of VW then export as VW2021 file? Quote Link to comment
shorter
According to the help system in each... 2021 will import SKP 4 to 2019. 2022 will import SKP 4 to 2020. 2023 will import SKP4 to 2022. 2023 will import SKP4 to 2022. Quote Link to comment
Cristiano Alves
I'm having some trouble getting good SketchUp Warehouse models into Vectorworks. This is the SketchUp model: This is what I managed to import: (it seems that the textures were not applied, although they are in the resource manager.) Is there a tutorial that shows the best way to import 3D models from the SketchUp Warehouse? Another thing I would like to stop is this disorganization of objects every time you import a SketchUp model. This is only for this object. In more complex 3D models it is very complicated to organize everything after importing something. Quote Link to comment
