Keynote Legend settings

In the callout preferences I can see how to set the text format for the callout itself, but not how to format the text (and presumably create a style) for the legend when I select the 'place as keynote' option?

I can go in the OIP and format the title and body text, but have to do this for every drawing with a legend...

But you can just copy paste the legend across layers.

Create a Keynote Legend and format the title and body text the way you like.

Select it and Create Symbol. Make sure you check the Convert to PIO check box. This will make it a "Red" symbol with the name showing in red text.

Save this symbol in your library/favorites so you can find it when you need it.

When you need a Legend, find the symbol in the Resource Manager and double click it. This will activate it as the active symbol and activate the symbol insertion tool.

Double Click to place the legend.

Activate the Callout Tool and make sure it is set to Keynote mode.

Your Callouts should automatically use the inserted legend.  If you have multiple legends, you will still need to set the one to use in the Callout Tool.
