JonKoch
Has anyone encountered this? It's super frustrating because I keep losing my DTM. I create a side modifier on my DTM Mods layer and then go in and change the surface modifiers with stake objects and grade objects. Once I'm finished and I exit out and update the site model, all of a sudden I get a mesh object and a group of my site model now on the DTM Mods layer instead of on the previous DTM layer. Am I missing something here or is this a bug? Thanks! Quote Link to comment
JonKoch
Ok, now it's just happening when I adjust a grade limit and update the site model. Creates a mesh and a group of 3D polygons separate from each other on whatever layer I'm on. Quote Link to comment
JonKoch
I also just tried it in another file and the same thing is happening. Create a grade limit, draw a planar pad site modifier within grade limit, update site model. Site model converts to 4 different objects. Groups and meshes. Quote Link to comment

Vectorworks, Inc Employee Peter Neufeld. Posted November 12, 2023 Vectorworks, Inc Employee Share Posted November 12, 2023 Here's the fix: Delete both meshes. Go to Site Model Settings>3D Uncheck 'Show Skirt'. Click ok. Go back into the Site Model Settings>3D Check 'Show Skirt'. Click ok The DTM should be ok now. I have reported it internally as VB-200513 DTM update produces the skirt and surface mesh rotated to 90º from it's actual orientation after update. Cheers, Peter Quote Link to comment
JonKoch
Thank you @Peter Neufeld.! I'll get back after it when I'm back in the office tomorrow! I'll submit a bug report and in the meantime, I'll use your fix. Thanks again! Quote Link to comment
