When editing a titleblock border...

I am looking at the caveat on the title block border.

 

I need to change the caveat/disclaimer.

 

I edit the title block border style.

 

And rather than being taken to the same place I am looking at i.e. to the caveat, I am taken to somewhere random and have to re-navigate to the caveat.

 

Annoying.

 

Who would find it useful if editing a title block border style took you to the same place you are looking at before you edit it?

Hello @shorter,

 

One thing that you should know is that when you edit the style from the instance you are actually not editing the instance but the style -> that's another object that you enter to edit and not the same one that you clicked on.

- I think that this random place is just the center of your Title Block Border graphics with no zoom change. So if you are zoomed out, you will easily see that you are looking at the center.

 

If you think that this should be changed, please submit a VE about it.

Yes, the view changes to the centre of the border, which is fine if the border is just the titleblock, but ours are full sheets, with caveats, etc, so yes, it would need to change so I shall submit a VE.
