jmhanby
Vectorworks 2023, I hit something and now when I pan, all the objects turn red. It only does it when I use it on my lap top and not when I use my desktop so I am assuming it is a computer setting within Vectorworks however I can't figure out how to stop it. Any suggestions would be appreciated as it is driving me crazy. Quote Link to comment
Christiaan
Are you hitting the V key by chance? Quote Link to comment
jmhanby
I thought of that however it won't stop even if I turn visibility off and now one of my view ports render all yellow. Quote Link to comment
jmhanby
Still trying to figure this out. Looking at workspaces, it does it when I am in either Architect or Fundamental but not Architect-Bim workspace. Quote Link to comment
jmhanby
Thought it was the hide/show constraints but that wasn't it. Edited November 13, 2023 by jmhanby didn't find solution Quote Link to comment
Jesse Cogswell
I've seen this kind of thing when the Clip Cube is active, especially when you have textures with image transparency shaders. Is it happening in 3D views or in Top/Plan as well? Quote Link to comment

Christiaan
@jmhanby are you able to post a screen recording? Quote Link to comment
rDesign
@jmhanby What OS are you using and what are the specifications of your laptop (and desktop)? (It makes it easier for forum users to assist you add this information to your signature). Since you are seeing different behavior on your laptop -vs- desktop computer (assuming you are using the same Vw files and Vw version installation), it could be that the hardware specifications of your laptop are be below what is recommended. jmhanby
Attached is a recording of what it is doing along with the specs of my laptop. I only does it on my laptop and not on my desk top computer so it has to be some setting on my laptop. Recording 2024-03-05 123639.mp4 Quote Link to comment
