Nomad on an old IPAD

I have a 10.7 inch IPAD Pro bought in 2019. I have mounted the Nomad Ap. It shows the vax files in the ap but does not allow me to do anything with them. Should the ap run ok on this IPAD? It runs ok on my Iphone XS

I run it on a 2nd gen iPad pro, which I think is older.

@Malcolm Woodruff I’m able to run Nomad on my even older iPad Air 2 (bought in 2015). I’m unable to install iPadOS 16, so I have to run the older version of Nomad (version 12.9), but it works. The current version of Nomad (13.0) requires iPadOS 16.

 

Try deleting the Nomad app, restart your iPad, and then reinstall the Nomad app from the App Store.

Have tried deleting and reinstalling the ap but no success. The files are there but when I tap on one it just asks me whether I want to share or delete the file. On the phone it asks whether I want to view in AR or 3D. If I continue to press on the phone I get the same dialogue as the iPad so it may be a tapping problem but I have not been able to solve it.

It sounds like an issue with your iPad.

Well, in that case, it may be just the excuse I need to get a new iPad with Lidar 😃

Nomad 12.9 is running on 2nd gen iPad Pro, iPad OS 17.0.2

Just an update. I bought a new IPAD Pro and it is running fine. Scans are amazing 🙂 Still not running on the old IPad though.
