0 rDesign Posted October 5, 2023 Share Posted October 5, 2023 (edited) Like you, I couldn’t figure out how to get a proper code-compliant handrail extension at the bottom landing of a Stair. When you create the Railing with the Pick Mode by clicking on the highlighted edge of the Stair, it seems like it doesn’t consider the bottom riser when it is creating the Railing. Hopefully someone from Vw will show us what we are doing wrong. [Note: I watched the VwUniversity training video titled ‘COFFEE BREAK - PARAMETRIC HANDRAILS AND GUARDRAILS’ (Service Select required) hoping that it would explain what we’re missing. They didn’t get to handrail extensions until around the 1h10m mark in the video, and it seemed like they were also having issues with getting the top & bottom landing handrail extensions to work properly. ] Funnily, enabling the Handrails option in the Stair PIO does make the correct code-compliant extensions at the top and bottom, but they don't return to wall.
