System Hanging When Going Into "Section In Place" mode

So, I'm documenting an existing building.

 

The roof structure is made up of bar joists supported by  sloped steel beams. I'm working in section views to copy an position the bar joists to the appropriate height. 

 

The first bay went well and I copied all of that to the second bay.

 

While working on the third bay however, my system bogs down. What gives?

 

I know the bar joists are not in the appropriate class yet. I'm going to fix that this afternoon when I get back from the jobsite. 

 

Mabey having each bay in a separate class might help, but it's not ideal.

 

Tried to upload a screenshot video, and the project file but they won't take. Unknow server error.

 

I'll try again in awhile.

So I decided to try to edit section again, left for to run errands and get lunch while the computer spun it's gears, came back and found these error messages...
