custom screen door leaf texture/hatch not rendering transparent

I have created a custom screen door leaf with a painted wood texture for the frame and a transparent screen texture for the panels. The screen door is situated in a curtain wall with the same screen texture for the curtain wall "panels". I created a perspective viewport on sheet layer where the curtain wall screen panels render transparent, but the screen door panels do not. I have exhausted my abilities with VW and still can't get the screen door panel texture to render transparent. Any help by the VW community is greatly appreciated. Screenshot and current (incomplete) design file attached.

Change your class to None for the fill,  either in the class or the class over ride for the viewport. Or you can use a different render style that will use the opacity mask in your texture.

Also I just screened in a patio in my backyard.

There is a simpler fix for your chosen rendering settings.  Turn off the reflectivity for your "insect screen" texture 🙂
