I am trying to replace a truss type. I have read the forums and help file but I can't seem to get the library to see the truss folder. 

 

 

So what step have I missed, thanks in advance,

Download the truss from the Resource Manager using the Vectorworks Libraries. Right clock on the file you want and choose 'Download and Install'.

I have done that. As you can see from the screenshots, it is in the Vectorworks library, but the application is not referencing it. Truss is downloaded and installed.

Have you brought the truss into your working file?

No, because it is not seen by the application. I am learning this program so I am not familiar with a lot of the syntax.  Most actually, lol. I go to the resource manager, and the Christie truss is not there.

Can you screenshot your resource manager for us?

You could also try to refresh your Vectorworks Library on Resource Manger. Goto Vectorworks Library line on Resource Manager and right-click that. You get option to Refresh.

 

 

Helped me once when some of truss library were missing from my system. Files were on computers file system and restart did not solve the problem.
