CW2020
I've been down this road before, but can't figure why certain walls are showing 0'-0" height verses say an 8'-0" height. It seems wall type specific. Any input is appreciated.Wall Height.vwx Quote Link to comment
Pat Stanford
You are using Story Bound walls in a file that does not have Stories set up. Use the Fixed Height walls instead. If you want to fix the existing walls, you have both the Top Bound and Bottom Bound set to Layer Elevation. Set the Top Bound to the Layer Wall Elevation and edit the Layer to have a Wall Elevation. Then edit the components of the wall so they are not associated with the Stories. But better to just change to a Fixed Height wall instead. 2 Quote Link to comment

Pat Stanford
I have accidentally grabbed the Story Bound walls innumerable times, so I know it is a possibility when my walls (which I use very few of) don't behave "properly". 1 Quote Link to comment
zoomer
I always use Story/Level bound Walls and Components. And I am always frustrated when I copy these in a new empty file from scratch for posting here for error checking and the Walls appear just as flat 2D Rectangle in 3D. Story and Level Settings should just copy over like Classes or RW Textures .... Thank god, since VW 2016 ? or so we can just overwrite Wall tops and bottoms in OIP easily. CW2020
Again, this was a huge help guys... still learning and developing my 3D skills. Don't know how I'd manage without this type of support. Thanks! Quote Link to comment
