Pat Stanford Posted January 30, 2023 Share Posted January 30, 2023 I read the question differently line-weight. 😉 As far as I know there is no way to use the menu command to create a Viewport and NOT have that Viewport (Sheet Layer or Design Layer) end up selected and visible. It is possible to script the creation of a VP on a sheet layer (have not tested design layer), and have it happen in the background and not become active and visible, but to do that you would have to script everything that happens automatically from the menu manually. If you just create a VP it has not layers or classes visible. It is like an empty group and you would have to add the layers/classes/overrides/scale/rendermodes manually. 1 Quote Link to comment
