Class and Layer Visibility toggle not working

Shortnort

Question

I have just opened a 2022 file using 2023.  Everything seems to be working great, except that I can not toggle on/off classes or layers as in the past.  When I hit the ALT-select, all of the layers and/or classes toggle on or off for only an instant then revert back to the previous setting. I went to the Help files, and it seems that nothing has changed in this version.

Is there a setting somewhere that locks the layers/classes when using a saved view? I now have to click on each individual layer/class to toggle on/off.  Very time consuming, to say the least.

I didn't know the ALT+click - to switch all Classes/Layer Visibilities.

Works on Mac too.

Nice one.

I am not sure what you really want to switch.

If you want to switch more than one Class at a time,

you have to select all of them before switching.

This is either done by Click, SHIFT+Click,

to select all Classes between first and second selected.

Or if you need them selectively, you hold CTRL+Click

to select/deselect single Classes without deleting your

other Selection.

It is basically the same behaviour on Mac.

Just that we use Shift and CMD - instead of CTRL.

And that Mac allows to click and hold on a single Class,

then drag above further Classes, to switch all of them.

It is like "painting" the selection and saves the need for

SHIFT and the last click ....
