DWG 2018 Import - Class Visibilities ignored ?

I just loaded a 2018 DWG file into VW.

 

It was a Bricscad BIM Model.

So I have Spaces occluding my Geometry.

 

So I switched off the Spaces Class - but nothing happened !?

Selected that single Space that I could see from outside and tried

"unlock".

Now when deactivating the Spaces Class, the Space disappeared.

 

So I thought, maybe DWG Import accidentally "locked" all Elements,

selected All > "unlock".

After that, non of my Class Visibilities Off has any impact.

Not even for that single Space that could be hidden at the beginning ....

 

 

Is this a known issue ?

Or am I doing something wrong ?

BTW

I can switch Visibilities by switching all Classes OFF and cycle

through them by activating them one at a time.

When I activate Clip Cube, the hidden Classes Elements disappear.

But when I switch Class Visibility when in Clip Cube,

the Spaces switch on again but do not disappear when I deactivate the

Class again - until I change my Clip Volume .....

 

Strange .....

(AFAIR I read something similar on the German Forum ?)

Hmmh, now it looks like Visibility works for all Classes, except for the Spaces Class.

But the workaround is to Fly-Over rotate or pan the View, to force Spaces to also

disappear ...

(Basically what I did/forced by changing the Clip Cube Volume before ..)
