ReMatsu
Hi vectorworks people, Can you guys check something for me, please? I can`t add distributed weight on a straight truss tool object, so it does not add weight when converting to hanging position. To recreate the problem: Open a a new blank document, add a straight truss tool object, and try to add distributed weight via OIP. It goes back to zero. Edit: I`m using VW2023 SP2 on windows 10. Thanks, Edited December 7, 2022 by ReMatsu Edit: I`m using VW2023 SP2 on windows 10. Quote Link to comment
Vectorworks, Inc Employee jcogdell Posted December 8, 2022 Vectorworks, Inc Employee Share Posted December 8, 2022 I just tried to reproduce this and as far as I can tell it is working correctly, I used 2023 sp2 on a win 10 laptop can you post a sample file? Quote Link to comment
ReMatsu
Sure, here it is. Thanks! StraightTrussToolTest.vwx Quote Link to comment
markdd
I have found that Distributed weight can be assigned to a Straight Truss object only at insertion from the Tool Preferences dialog or by double clicking the Tool button. Therafter the Distributed weight of a Straight Truss object cannot be altered. I do not know whether this is working as designed or if this is a bug. Quote Link to comment
ReMatsu
Thanks for this work around! I think it`s a bug because it used to work on 22. Thanks again! Quote Link to comment
