Export Image-Time Saving Hint

Recommended Posts

I stumbled across this, and I thought it might be helpful.

If you want to export to an image file in Final Q Renderworks, you have to let the entire image render once, then do the export.

I found that if I start the render in FQ, then stop it right away (Apple+.), then export to image file, it assumes that it has been rendered once. Basically you save the time waiting for the first rendering to be complete.

Splendid hint ... also just goto export image without rendering then render from there. Most of my Final Q renderings are done with batch anyway. Another very 'quick' hint is to use a screen capture of all or parts of the Final rendering. This works well for quick views & details pasted into emails, etc.
