Ramon PG
How would you distinguish between spaces belonging to different departments, but on the same floor? is there a Space Number prefix or suffix? Quote Link to comment
Pat Stanford
Spaces have over 270 fields. You can use most of them as you want. For a department I might use the occupant Name or Occupant Organization fields. Or one of the User Fields to specify the Department. Use them as best suits your need. 1 Quote Link to comment
Ramon PG
I used Occupant Organization and that worked perfectly. I also had separated the departments by design layer to have separate space lists, but I wonder if that was really necessary. Thanks. Quote Link to comment
Pat Stanford
You should not have had to split them by layer. You could have used a Field Value Criteria instead. Something like: Field Value Occupant Organization is 'Department 1' Then just change the department name on each of the different space lists. The different lists could be in the same worksheet (just different database rows) or in entirely different worksheets if you want more flexibility of where they are placed in the drawing. Thanks for the pointer, another customization option I did not know about. I originally divided them buy layer as to be possible to show one department separate from the other and avoid divisive comparisons... Quote Link to comment
