Using Eyedropper Tool to transfer Record attributes

I am working on a file with a Data Visualization applied + using the Eyedropper Tool to pick up Records + apply them to other objects. Every time I do so I get this message:

 

 

And sometimes this one:

 

 

I would like to be able to dismiss these messages to stop them appearing. I don't even think they're relevant when all I'm doing is transferring records not attributes as such

I really need to be able to override this message:

I feel like that should be a red message in the status bar at the bottom of the screen.
