  1. Do save the Rendering via File> Export > Image File and use Full Screen Cursor ? Then I get the Cursor Cross showing in the saved Rendering.
  2. The lag is noticable when : I draw 2D rectangle - in 3D Custom Iso set to orthogonal - use automatic workplane - full screen cursor Situations where the beep is sometimes missing is when I just had one beep but move cursor to another snap point.
  3. 36. I found traces of full screen cross hair cursor when exporting (rendering) : Image File, current view. 37. Antialiasing seems to not work in OpenGL 3D Iso when Projection set to Perspective. And I think it works not sufficient in Orthogonal Iso Views too.
  4. A) Mouseover > Pling Popup Mouse away > Floop Popup disappears or B) Mouse click on Thumbnail > Pling Popup or Window Mouse click on Popup > edit settings etc. Mouse click on screen > Floop Popup disappears or both ? Does this make sense ?
  5. Yes, would be nice to separate that screen size thing from the rest of the User Settings, that are same on all machines.
  6. Creating two User Folders and switching between these ??? Or will the larger Palette Layout be destroyed as soon as opened on a smaller screen ? (Read only Folder won't work either ?)
  7. I think that goes much easier. No setting in VW Preferences. Vectorworks just keeps/remembers the settings for Render Mode, Projection and Crop settings set for one of the following Groups : - all orthogonal views like Top, Bottom, Left, Right, Front and Rear - all non-orthogonal views like Isometrics and perspectives - all Camera Views - Top/Plan mode stays always as is. Means while working and switching between views, if I set Top to wireframe all orthogonal views will be in wireframe mode when (re)activated. (Never cropped, never in perspective ?) All Isometrics will stay in f.e. OpenGL mode when (re)activated. Perspective or not, (never cropped ?) All Camera Views will be cropped by a visible frame and optional, the surroundings will be shown in same mode, wireframe or grayed (?) The Frame ALWAYS uses the same (about 80%) size on screen ! Rendermode as set per Camera.
  8. What specifically would you like to see? How would you recommend a redesign without voiding the years (in some cases, decades) of experience current users have with the current UI? I would like to see some separation lines between the icons. F.e. in the Basic Palette, To separate tools for manipulation from tools for object creation, 2D and 3D, lines and Polygons, .... Meanwhile my Basic Plaette has been moved to the bottom of the screen to have shorter cursor ways, in one row to make it easier to sort and recognize icons. Also I custom rearranged icons in almost any Palette. I deactivated Class and Layer dropdowns on top as they are redundant with Navigation Palette. (Since I learned that double clicking in Navigations brings the Organisation too)
  9. Done. The VWX is the whole building with 7 floors. What you see on the screen shots is only the second floor (1_OG-LEVEL ZEICHNUNG) You can have my DXF too if you want (zipped 30+ MB)
  10. Looks nice. Is the attached file the resolution you rendered in 12 hours ? On your Macbook in your signature ? Sounds a bit long. I think you have 4 bounces in GI, right ? Can you post a screen shot of your render settings ? Do you use lots of bump/displacement/blurry reflections beside floor and chair ?
  11. Ooops .... * * Sorry, Didn't know that  This is just the requested ALL ON/OFF in context menu. So all functionality there but maybe an UI thing if it is visible enough for people like me. No That's the next thing. I would like to have both strictly separated. F.e. I do a change in the drawing, zoom in by several view changes, just to see that was wrong and needs an Undo - I don't want to CMD-Z a few times to undo, as this may be the screen crop I want to go on working anyway. (Because that way you likely lose control how many steps you went back)
  12. Yes, sounds logical. Why should you crop a screen view anyway.
  13. Yes, that's the setting I missed Nevertheless there is at least a frame that shows me the view borders now. But I have to switch it explicitly on for camera view. (that I can "zoom to all" to get a full screen view). So I vote for an additional switch in the Tool Mode Bar Most elegant would be a grayed out surrounding like in Cinema and an auto zoom of the crop frame to (nearly) full window.
  14. I'm also interested. As far as I experienced you can't connect walls with custom end caps anymore. You have to assign the complete end cap to one wall and set the other walls to touch the cap. But I don't know why you need so many custom caps ? Better to show a screen shot. If you need standard end caps, these can be set in the wall preferences insertion options.
  15. That's the way OS X fullscreen mode works. No title bar, no dock. That's fine for Apps like Safari, iWork, etc. I don't use it either as I normally use, and switch between, a lot of Apps where I need to access the title bar very often. In VW I arrange my menu windows on screen and if I open a file I push the green button to scale the drawing window to jump in between the Menus. Don't know why but it makes me nervous if parts of the drawing are hidden behind Palettes. I'm looking forward to get a non palette one-window UI like in Cinema or Modo some times in the future Would be nice to change the width and proportion of Object Info, Navigation and Resource Browser in one go.
  16. That blue button appears but it doesn't change anymore when I click on it. Same for the Window>Full Screen, I can toggle but no changes. I managed to come back some how by activating (the other) Space with the File, instead of the Space with the palettes, from the Spaces overview. But now I can't resize the view Window and palettes. Strange. But if that happens on old 10.7.5 only and current OS X works fine, I wouldn't invest much time in it.
  17. Grossartig ! VW 2015 Awesome work ! My first issue, I can't switch back from full screen mode under OS X 10.7.5 (I am the one who uses spaces on OS X)
