i have 15 sheets, a click on add all then click on export, nothing happens

Not working for me, Export PDF works ok, But when i try use Export PDF(Batch) and then click on it just goes back to the drawing screen and does nothing

Do i need to do anything with them? 1200_49891_60762_Win_eng and 1200_49891_60762_Com_eng

Went to upgrade my version 12.0.1 to 12.5. Downloaded the Installer from NNA, opened the zip file and ran Setupseries A, got through that part all right, then it got to 88% and the download thing came up and was downloading Part 1 of 2 and the computer froze, so i restarted the computer, and then tried to run the installer again yet it tells me that i am running the latest version, so im missing out 12% and part 2 of whatever it was downloading, is the only way to correct this do a total reinstal of VW so that i can install Version 12.5 fully. im Running windows XP

they wont show up in hidden line, it would be good if VW could do this, but you could create some of your own textures, just basic ones then it wont take to much CPU to render them

Can you use the symbols on this forum? in MS word? if they work fine in them then i would assume a setting has been changed in VW, thats if there is one, if you cant do them anywhere maybe its a computer setting rather than a VW setting.

Im the only one that has it anywhere, no other stations are hooked into my PC, i cant move or copy it, comes up saying file is Corrupt

Im Admin, the only one with it open and the files isnt in the RB list

is there any way to get it back though? i have been reading this thread http://techboard.nemetschek.net/ubbthrea...age=0#Post64415 and have done what they said fixed theirs, moved it into a new folder and renamed it but no luck, i have also tried Archoncads Saving a corrupt file but that doesnt work, get the same error message when i try to workgroup reference it. I can move it around on the removable disk, yet i cant copy it to the computer HDD or move it. Any one no a way that i can save this file, or parts of it?

I have a symbol that i have made, and in that symbol there is text that has been linked to records, how do i go about changing the symbol to a plugin, and then making it so i can edit those records on the OIP shape tab rather than having to go into data?

Internal Error - General failure encounted during disk I/O operation. (failure to open file) any one else recieved this, any one know how it can be fixed? suggestions much appreciated as the VW back up folder has disapeared so no recent back up. Regards, Ian

I have insterted a whole lots of doors and windows into my project, and they all broke the wall as they should, yet all of sudden they changed and now dont break the wall, yet they all say "Door in Wall" and "Break" is set to "Full Break with Caps". I went and opened a new file, drawed a wall and inserted a door and that worked fine, so i must of done something somewhere along the line to make the doors and windows not break the walls, any chance that anyone can help me out?

Just a few question. 1. Im trying to create a steel portal frame, i got one of the Steel sections and traced over it to create a polygon, i then extruded that polygon along a path to create a portal frame. How can i make it so that in a Top/Plan view i only see the profile of the portal frame at the base, and not the whole frame? 2. When i go to apply Hatch 3 to a object, VW applys Hatch 1, so if i want to apply hatch 3, i need to apply Hatch 5. Im guessing this to be a bug? 3. When you snap onto a object your curser changes to a black dot and text shows up saying what it is that you have snaped onto. I just get the black dot and no text saying what it is that im snaped onto. Im assuming this is a setting that i have accidently turned off somewhere? any one no how i need to go about turning it back on?

Im currently running Vectorworks 12.01 Architect with Renderworks on a PC, 3.0ghz proccesor 1 gig of ram and a 256mb Graphics card. im thinking of upgrading my ram to increase the speed at which i can run Vectorworks, will beefing it up to 2gig be enough to run smoothly, will 3 gig be to much and Vectorworks wont even get close to using it?

Megabits New Zealand still does it, its very helpfuly in the transition.

maybe this should be moved into the wishlist fourm if it is not yet possible? When i move specs from word to Vectorworks i have to make sure i have them perfect, as it will copy the formatting across right, but if i try to edit the text box in vectorworks it destroys all my hard work of formatting in Word. My only suggestion is that you try make sure that they are perfect before you transfer them across, ether that or push VW to put it into the next release.

Yes this would be great, textures are great for 3D modeling, but councils dont care for that, would be great to apply a hatch to the face of the wall so in hidden line render you can make Siddings etc.

is there any way to add a wall cladding to a exterior wall so that when you veiw elevations in hidden line rendermode that the wall has say vertical weatherboards on it?
