Monte Posted June 20, 2022 Share Posted June 20, 2022 So as a commercial drone pilot and a landscaping designer, I elected to fly a house under construction in a wooded area to map it for 3D modeling. I utilized the maximum # of images (500) for processing. It took 24 hrs to process, but only created a point cloud file. No 3D textured mesh files were created. Would this be because it reached the 24 hr time-out limit and it had only created the point cloud file up to that point in time? Quote Link to comment
Jeff Prince Posted June 20, 2022 Share Posted June 20, 2022 Vectorworks cloud services is far from the best for drone to 3D processing. I would advise using Recap, Agisoft, or other suitable professional software. Quote Link to comment
