Plant sizes in Landmark 2022

Help! I am unable to manually adjust my plant sizes in the object info palette in Vectorworks 2022. I am creating a new library of plants in the 2022 version and this feature is greyed out. I uploaded a few plants from a plant list created in the 2021 version and the sizing tool is still functional. I use this tool to manually adjust plant sizes often, please help!

They changed Vectorworks 2022 Plants to inherit their size Bystyle instead of Byinstance.  To change this behavior, you have to edit the plant style to use Byinstance settings for size.

 

In the OIP, select the flyout for your plant's style, choose "Edit Style"

 

Note the spread and height have little icons to the left with an arrow... That means they are set to bystyle.

 

 

Clicking on those icons will change them to by instance, indicated with the "sliders" icon.

 

There are several threads here on the forum about this change.  There was talk of Vectorworks providing a tool for converting old plants to new plant styles and handling these changes, but I haven't seen it yet.  Anyhow, this will get you going.
