2022 VW Attributes Keeps Defaulting to Adding Arrows

Hi,

 

My firm seems to be having this issue with 2022 Vectorworks. Arrows keep being added to our drawing. 

 

When I add surface to something that doesn't have an arrow originally, it'll add an arrow. If I use 'make all attributes by class', it'll add an arrow. However, if I am drawing on the class, it doesn't add an arrow. In the class edit dialog box, it does have an arrow setting. I don't know how to turn this off?

There is a bug that does not allow the ByClass settings to have a configuration with no arrow.

 

You can either set your objects to set the end markers manually instead of by class.

 

Or you can create a Marker type with a very short length and a zero angle and assign that "empty" marker to the class.

Thanks for your response. We'll make the markers smaller, is there a way to adjust the arrows for multiple classes at once?

From the Organization Palette, select all of the classes you want to change. Click the Edit button at the bottom. Change ONLY the marker and click OK.

 

If you change other items in addition to the marker (like the fill color), that change will also be applied to ALL of the selected classes.
