Ramon PG
I get a DTM error saying I have two intersecting pads. But when I go check the pads with the AEC>Terrain>Filter 3D Polygons I get a message saying "No Problems with DTM Data Found". Maybe polygons are too near? But, how much is too near? Any clue as to what it may be? Thanks Quote Link to comment
islandmon
There are 2 different types of DTM data required by the procedure. 1) Non conflicting & non intersecting DTM 3D vertices. 2) Non conflicting & non intersecting 2d polygon 'fences' delineating the parameters of the 3d vertices for purposes of creating a Proposed Site Model. If any part of the 2d polygon 'fence' violates closure and/or crosses with an other 2d object, the procedure fails regardless of the integrity of the 3d data. Quote Link to comment
Ramon PG
I have cheked both the DTM data 3D and the 2D fence a couple of hundred times. It's merely an acre-sized project. It's obvious, at least visually, that there is no overlapping. When viewed in elevation and isometric views every pad seems to be in its right place. Is there a proximity tolerance that did not exist in VWv11? Quote Link to comment
islandmon
There's no tolerance other than the stacking of contours to describe a vertical slope. Have you checked that there are no other Site Modifiers on this or that Layer or artifacts be looked at ? Are those 3D pads created from 3D polygons and are they closed ? Are the 2d polygons closed as well ? In my exprience it usually comes down to something very simple. Perhaps it's time to copy&paste the Existing DTM and Site Modifiers to a new document... Save & run the procedure. Quote Link to comment
Ramon PG
Very simple, indeed. And very invisible. The seems to be a DTM modifier somewhere in another layer. I haven't found it yet. Thanks for the concern. The Baru tabs gets bigger and bigger... Quote Link to comment
