blimey
I'm used to have walls in different classes with the option use at creation on, so that being able to change their aspect at once. With the new all system I can't find a good way to change easily a massive wall that have different width. If I use the wall class style, I've got to create as many different classes as wall width as the wall width is locked, then if I want to change how they look, i've got to change each one by one. I've also tried using the unstyle wall, but the option fill set to none results in a white wall. How could I have it get the class color? Quote Link to comment
blimey
I'm also trying to find if it is possible to have the pen a different color than the fill : say Red line wall for demolitions and black line for project... Quote Link to comment
CipesDesign
You can use an unstyled wall, and also give it class attributes. Select the wall tool, then click on wall pref's (in the mode bar, farthest right). In the second tab of the wall pref's dialog, "insertion options", you can chose a class (you must first have created the class). Then you can save the wall as a wall style. There does seem to be bug whereby the class attributes of a classed / styled wall do not show up on creation (as they should). The workaround is to select the wall(s) then change the class to 'none' and then back to the class you created. This seems to work (at least for me). Hope that helps :-) Quote Link to comment
blimey
Yeah, it reacts exactly as you say. There must be a flag that does not switch on when the walls are created but that are activated only by the back and forth manipulation. Logically there should be a way to activate that flag (correct the bug) manually (something that gives the same result then changing to none and coming back)... I wonder. Thank you very much. blimey
you cannot change several walls to 'none' class at once. You have to unstyle them first, then only they will accept to be change alltogether to another class, then you have to change them back to styled wall... ###!!!### Quote Link to comment
