Paul N Posted March 8, 2022 Share Posted March 8, 2022 When I try to move objects or lines over to a different class and layer, the whole screen / viewport disappears on me... when I try to use the "create drape from surface" it messes up the site model. Benson Shaw Posted March 9, 2022 Share Posted March 9, 2022 Is the survey a link? It is not active. Anyway, the model geometry is thousands of miles from the drawing internal origin. This causes the kinds of problems experienced working with this file. The Drawing Settings>Georeferencing shows a generic world mapping. If georeferencing is not important to this project, Select all the geometry and move it close to the internal origin. If working georeferenced, apply a more local CRS via the EPSG/CRS Lookup to align the origin and drawing geometry. Lots more on that, but others with more experience will need to fill that in. Either way, layer/class transfers and rendering should work as expected. Drape may take a long time because the site is large. Smoothing the model can also be adjusted via the Site Model Settings>3d Display>Mesh Smoothing. Hope that helps -B 1 Quote Link to comment
