Chris Pyfrom Posted February 12, 2022 Share Posted February 12, 2022 I am trying to set some help text for a custom plug-in for fields in the OIP. I know there is a setHelpText procedure, but how do if find the dialogID and componentID of the OIP and individual fields? Is there another procedure I need to use? Am I also able to set help text for fields under the Data tab in the OIP? Is it just knowing the deviceID or am I going to have to go down the road of event based OIP? JBenghiat Posted February 12, 2022 Share Posted February 12, 2022 Vectorworks doesn't have the ability to provide help or tooltips in the OIP, even for core tools. You'll see a tooltip-like interface that shows you data that is too large to completely display in the field, but that's it. Quote Link to comment
