Samuel_Ellis Posted December 22, 2021 Share Posted December 22, 2021 Hi Ya'll, I made a custom truss library back in VW20 to mimic what we have in the shop. Recently we upgraded to VW22 and I'm finding that these truss pieces no longer snap the way they are suppose to. What happened? They worked fine in VW21. Is there an easy fix or am I going to have to redraw the whole library? Quote Link to comment
Vectorworks, Inc Employee klinzey Posted December 22, 2021 Vectorworks, Inc Employee Share Posted December 22, 2021 Vectorworks 2022 added Truss Magnets to more accurately and reliably connect truss. You can convert your existing library by running the Tools>Utilities>Update Truss Magnets. This will convert the old record data to the new truss magnets. This will work for most trusses, there may be some where you have to edit the symbol and manually adjust the magnets in order to get them to connect accurately. Quote Link to comment
