Multiple lines duplicate offset without going to the tool every time.

Eddy

Question

Does anyone knows how I offset duplicate various lines/polygons/polylines with the same distance, by just click them separately. So I won't have to go every time back to the tool palette. Means I select the right tool, give a number and click line by line by polygon and so on, and they offset duplicate.

Thnx if you have the answer.

Put them inside a group and then run the offset tool on the Group. This is good for closed shapes.

If it is just lines or polys, then select the next object by holding down the command/ctrl key while you make the new selection and then carry on as normal. The Command/ctrl key temporarily suspends the tool while you make a new selection.
