zero
I would like to use the condoc drawing boarders with ISO sized sheets. So, how do I use a condoc border on a sheet sized 420x294mm? The reason for using the condoc as opposed to the iso sheets is the appearance - the condoc looks nicer (to me!). If I could edit the PIO....but of course it's locked! Thanks Quote Link to comment
Guest
Are you using the PIO, the symbol in the symbols library file or via the Document Setup commands? Quote Link to comment
Vectorworks, Inc Employee Robert Anderson Posted March 14, 2003 Vectorworks, Inc Employee Share Posted March 14, 2003 The ConDoc borders were based on an American standard that does not support international (ISO) paper sizes. However, the symbol-based title blocks created by the Document Setup command (or the Create Standard Sheets) command are all based on the ConDoc sheets and are very similar. Plus, since they're symbol-based, you can customize them. Quote Link to comment
Mat Caird
So I used the create standard sheets command, with the predefined style "condoc C", scale 1:50, print area ISO A2.... The title block looks just how I want it, except it's slightly the wrong size (to be expected). So I switch layers to sheet-floorplan 1, and double click the drawing border, but "this object has no edit behaviour". ie, I can't resize it. So Robert, if the drawing border arch PIO is symbol based, where do I find and edit this symbol? Thanks. Mat. Quote Link to comment
Vectorworks, Inc Employee Robert Anderson Posted March 14, 2003 Vectorworks, Inc Employee Share Posted March 14, 2003 I didn't say the drawing border arch PIO is symbol based. Really, I said the opposite: I said there were symbol based drawing blocks that are based on the look of the Condoc PIO. Try using one of the ISO sized drawing blocks. They should be symbol based.
