Student license extension

I've recently applied for a license extension which has apparently been approved, however when I open Vectorworks to message saying my license will expire stills comes up.

 

I've been given a different serial number to add to my account which for some reason is the same number I already have. 

also when I log into my account the downloadable versions are only showing Vectorworks Designer 2021 and I'm using Vectorworks 2020 so im not sure if im Abe to download previous versions anymore, which I still need for other projects.

 

Please can someone help me sort this issue out as I've got projects that I need to complete asap.

@Cerys.M your license of Vectorworks 2021 must be active and ready to use and you will be able to open files from version 2020. If you still need to work in version 2020, please contact uktech@vectorworks.net

Okay, yes I do need version 2020, if I download 2021 can I still use my 2020 files?

that is correct you can open 2020 files in version 2021 without an issue.

ive been talking student support. the new serial number you gave me doesn't work with the 2020 version I have. they've also told me that there isn't a VW 2020 version attached to my account with the old serial number however that it the one I have always been using.
