Tom W.
Can someone explain to me what the 'Render Geometry' check box is for with these lights? It doesn't seem to do anything... I'm also slightly confused about the 'Quality' parameter. Thanks Edited February 25, 2021 by Tom W. Quote Link to comment
Pat Stanford
Render Geometry determines if the objects that make up the light are shown in a rendered image or not. This is sort of like the VW Preferences option to display light objects Always, Only in Wireframe, or Never. If you want the light from the object but don't want to see the actual line or rectangle that acts as the light then uncheck the box. If you want to see the line/rectangle then check the box. Tom W.
Well that's what I assumed it meant but whether enabled or disabled, I was still seeing the line or rectangle in the drawing. But now you've helped assure me I'm not going mad I've restarted VW + it's working how you describe. Thanks Quote Link to comment
