therorhodion
Early in the design process, I sometimes use the 'Cloud' line type to give planted areas a more visual quality to planted areas. Sometimes the scale of this linetype of what I see within the Vectorworks program differs from the PDF (print) version. Do you know why this is? See image attached. In the program these the scale of these 'cloud' lines is smaller. 1 Quote Link to comment
zoomer
I would bet, the usual "Rasterize PDF" workaround (with all its downsides) would help in this case also. BTW, I think that screenshot looks absolutely gorgeous. 1 Quote Link to comment
Vectorworks, Inc Employee bgoff Posted February 14, 2021 Vectorworks, Inc Employee Share Posted February 14, 2021 Is it world or page based? are you creating pdf for a sheet layer or a design layer? Quote Link to comment
therorhodion
Thank you Zoomer! I tried the "Rasterize PDF" but my issue with this is when I place it in InDesign, it seems to have issues. Bgoff: I am creating a pdf on a sheet layer and exporting it as a pdf. Quote Link to comment

Interesting. A PDF that just contains an Image File should be the least common denominator. Of course, once an Image File, there is no more Vector Information. So no more Layer Visibility Switching, Snapping and such Features anymore. Maybe the Problem in InDesign is the file size or RAM usage ... Edited February 15, 2021 by zoomer 1 Quote Link to comment
