JonnyC
Hey Peeps, I have a Skypanel s60 fixture and I have made a Snapbag accessory which attaches to the front of the light. It attaches fine and everything but when I try to focus it the centre point from where it tilts changes and the body comes off the yoke as it tilts. When I delete the sandbag it goes back to normal. Is there anyway to fix this? Im using VW2021. Thanks in advanced 🙂 Jonny Quote Link to comment
markdd
Can you provide a screen shot or even a file with the lighting device and accessory? Quote Link to comment
JonnyC
Here You go, Just thinking do I need to put a 3d Loci for the snapbag? s60 Tilt.vwx Edited November 9, 2020 by JonnyC Quote Link to comment
Vectorworks, Inc Employee JustinVH Posted November 9, 2020 Vectorworks, Inc Employee Share Posted November 9, 2020 @JonnyC I took a look at your file and I noticed that the body of the instrument's tilt point was not in alignment with the 3D loci inside the 3D portion of the symbol. I corrected that and I also added the new parts record to this file. I also noticed that the snap bag did not have a device type so I changed that to Accessory as well as assigned the parts record to the container of this symbol and chose body. It looks like the light is behaving as you want with the attached snap bag. I have attached the updated file. s60 Tilt Updated.vwx 2 Quote Link to comment
