  1. Hello, don't worry I had another look in the divers and managed to fix it... Sorry πŸ™‚
  2. Hey Everyone, Not sure if this is the right place to post this but I am running Vectorworks on a Mac and a Windows machine and as far as I can see the settings in Vectorworks are the same unless there Is a hidden setting somewhere. My 2019 MacBook Pro seems to render fine and I can zoom in as far as I want but my Windows Machine Which is AMD Ryzen 9 3900XT, 128gb RAM and a GeForce RTX 3090 and when I zoom into an small object the render starts ti freak out. As far as I can see all my setting for the video card on my windows machine are set to max on the driver side of it as well. I have attached two photos to compare. Any help would be great. Thanks πŸ™‚
  3. Don't worry everyone, In true fashion as soon as I did this post i found them πŸ™‚
  4. Hey Everyone, I'm after some ladder truss circles, I cant seem to find any in the Vectorworks Libraries What I'm after is a 2m, 3m, 4m, 5m and a 6m circles. Would anyone know where I could source some from? Thanks in advance, Jonny
  5. Thanks for your help, I worked out someways yesterday as I was playing around with things. thank you
  6. Hey, This is almost what I'm after. Is the only way for this to say light up a room and push the colour onto walls to have lights on the inside of it like you have it? As I have noticed if you just turn on the cylinder it just lights up its self and doesn't effect any objects around it. Also is there any documentation about the RGB mesh stuff as when I try to make it myself in another document I cant work out how to "flag it as a RGB Mesh" Sorry I have just started using vision so just getting used to it. Thanks Jonny
  7. Thanks for the help. The skrim idea isn't really want I'm after. What I'm trying to do is make a space light style light which would glow. (not the same as the photo but its the kind of idea. but instead of it being a ready made fixture it is made up of 4x ARRI 360s) Thanks πŸ™‚
  8. Hey Peeps, Just wondering if there a way to be able to apply a frosted glass or something like a Diffusion Gell or a like 1/2 grid to an object and render that in vision? Thanks in advanced Jonny πŸ™‚
  9. Hey, Yea not CAD files. For example its a set drawing that has been made which I want to get into vision. Im pretty sure its made in Rhino. Would IFC or DWG be better than OBJ and 3DS? I might see if I can get it either of those and try them. πŸ™‚
  10. Hey Everyone, Just wondering what everyones preferred file format for importing Complex 3D files into Vectorworks is. I have tired 3DS and OBJ but with both Vectorworks seems to struggle with a bit. My Machine is AMD Ryzen 9 3900XT 64gb RAM 1gb Samsung SSD 970 EVO GeForce RTX 2080TI The main slow part is importing. Takes hours and when I check the performance of what the PC is doing nothing is stressing out so that makes me think that Vectorworks its self is struggling with it. Thanks for the help πŸ™‚
  11. Thanks, I will have a look at what you have done and learn somethings πŸ™‚
  12. Here You go, Just thinking do I need to put a 3d Loci for the snapbag? s60 Tilt.vwx
  13. Hey Peeps, I have a Skypanel s60 fixture and I have made a Snapbag accessory which attaches to the front of the light. It attaches fine and everything but when I try to focus it the centre point from where it tilts changes and the body comes off the yoke as it tilts. When I delete the sandbag it goes back to normal. Is there anyway to fix this? Im using VW2021. Thanks in advanced πŸ™‚ Jonny
  14. Hey Peeps, Just wondering if someone could help me im trying to change the viewing angle of the basic camera in Vectorworks. Not trying to change the render works camera just the normal Front/left view camera. Cant for the life of me find any settings that would change it anyway. Keep safe Jonny πŸ™‚
  15. Hey Everyone, Just wondering if someone could help me. I have made some soft boxes which I have turned into hanging positions so I can attach lights to the inside of them. Im wanting to be able to include these boxes into the Instrument summary so people don't have to count how many are on the plan. When I try to add these to the summary they are blue and I just get a 0 in the count. Is there anyway to make this work? Thanks Jonny πŸ™‚
