jnr
So I know I can add say a floor to cap the top of a partial height wall, but is there anyway to do this so I'm not looking at the guts of the wall assembly and yet have it as a wall setting so that if I change the wall, I don't have to go back and reshape the floor object? In this case the guts are purple. Wish list? You can cap the ends, but not the top. What am I missing? Quote Link to comment
zoomer
Well, if it is just for the Rendering, you could just assign a Material by whole Wall in Wall Style, instead of by Components.. (You could add separate Materials Top/Heads/ Sides this way if you wish) If that is a plaster sandwich partial height wall in real world and important, you may want to model a plaster top panel anyway to get correct sections (?) So the Wall interior would be void or insulation between the framing, You could use Wall Tool for each vertical Panel and a Slab Style for the top Panel. When the Slab is bound to these connected Walls, you could just move one of the head Wall Segments to extend the overall Wall and the Slab would follow. 2 Quote Link to comment
