jgmrussell
Hi, I was just sent an email with a dwg file of a kitchen. VW 12.01 loads and file opens, but I'm getting alot of very big solid black arrows. I tried turning off all classes, but they're still there. Any solutions would be appreciated. Guest
The arrows are probably arrowheads. Create a new file and reimport the file. This time, in the scale section on the right, set the scale to 1:48. That will force the scaling of the arrowheads Quote Link to comment
jgmrussell
Hi Katie, I tried your suggestion, but I can't import file as it is an .mcd file and is not recognized to import. I saved file to desktop as untitled4.mcd. It's grayed out when trying to locate it. Any ideas on what I'm doing wrong? John Quote Link to comment
CipesDesign
Hi John, I have a couple of questions: 1) Who created the file? 2) Was it originally created in VW's, or was it orginally an ACAD (or other .dwg) file that was imported into VW's. 3) In the view that appears when you open the file, is the active (visible) layer a DESIGN LAYER or a SHEET LAYER? If it is the former, what is the scale setting for that layer? The answers might help to define your problem a bit better, which will (hopefully) make the solution more obvious... Guest
Reimport the dwg file - is it a dwg, such as an AutoCAD file --- or is the file a Vectorworks file? Quote Link to comment
