David Scenic
I recently purchased Vectorworks 12 Designer and was trying to locate in the resources any residential furniture, like beds, easy chairs etc. There are symbols that pertain more to office planning but I was looking for the more common, residential/household symbols. I have version 10 and the symbols are there. Am I missing something in 12 or is there a way to import the entire residential file from 10? I tried importing as the Fundamentals manual says but had no luck. Anyone have any suggestions? Thanks, everyone, and happy new year. Quote Link to comment
mike m oz
Libraries/Object Sampler/VectorWorks Basic/Residential Furniture Access will be easier if you move the VectorWorks Basic folder from this obscure and not obvious location to the topmost level of the Library Folder. bohlr
Thanks for the tip on where the residential furniture is located in V12. How does one get it to appear as an item in the Resource Brouser as a favorite? Quote Link to comment
mike m oz
Same as in earlier versions. - Go to the Resource Browser. - Choose Add New Favorite Files. - Navigate till you find the file(s) you want. - Select Open Quote Link to comment
